Property management in Mississauga
Mississauga has a large condo market around Square One, Port Credit and along Hurontario, and family homes, townhouses and basement apartments across the rest of the city. Since September 1, 2026, it also licenses renovations that need a tenant to move out.

Mississauga in numbers
What renting in Mississauga looks like.
New leases start at the asking rent. CMHC’s averages include tenants who have stayed for years, so they run lower: that gap is why the rent is set with care every time a home turns over.

Local questions
Renting out a home in Mississauga.
Does Mississauga have a renoviction by-law?
Yes. For N13 notices served from September 1, 2026, Mississauga requires a renovation licence and a moving allowance for the tenant. We build both into the plan before any notice goes out.
Can I rent my Mississauga condo for short stays?
Only if it’s your principal residence, with a City licence, and only if your condo allows it: many Mississauga condos ban stays of under a month. Furnished rentals of more than 30 nights aren’t short-term rentals under the by-law.
